Hubble Telescope - DVD

In May 2009, the crew of the Atlantis space shuttle undertook a mission to repair and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope, the first optical telescope to be launched into space. IMAX camera © It captured five intricate spaceships into a stunning way, including close-ups of an attempt to attach a orbiting telescope using the shuttle' s mechanical arm at 27,000 kilometers per hour, which created an unexpected problem threatening the success of the entire mission.

These amazing shots alternate with the images the telescope has taken over 20 years as our window into space. Thanks to professional computer visualization, the data collected by the Hubble Telescope has turned into realistic trips across space, space and time.
