Hussitism and the Hussites
The book brings together 16 previously published studies, which have been supplemented and expanded with new findings for this collection to reflect the current state of scientific research. It deals with the issue of the broadly understood Hussite epoch, which the author defines as the years 1402–1485, but also takes into account the actualization of Hussite ideas in the pre-Biała Hora period. In several thematic blocks, it presents the work of Jan Hus, the situation in Hussite Prague, the personality of the Czech King George of Poděbrady, historiography of the 15th and 16th centuries, and the reflection of Hussiteism in modern Czech society.
