Hutka Jaroslav: Glass Day - CD

Jaroslav Hutka recorded a new album, composed mainly of lyrical songs, many of which are inspired by his stays in India.
In a sense, Glass Day follows on from the album In Drunken Colors. It is again full of typical Hutkov text paintings, but thanks to the arranger Petr Přibyl, it has been transformed into a monumental sound gallery.
Jaroslav Hutka untraditionally put down his guitar and just sings on the album, but the musicians from the orchestra of the National Theater in Prague colourate his songs and enrich them with a different and deeper meaning. Thanks to the musicians, the lyrical images are suddenly more comprehensible and transferred from the traditions of Czech folk songwriting to the world of classical music.
