Hutka Jaroslav: White Elephant - CD

The studio album from 2013 offers eighteen new songs by Jaroslav Hutka. In the opening words, the author recalls his childhood in Hana and describes his search for a background in the bleak Dutch exile, only to find "his" landscape later in the Larzac plateau at the southern end of the French Central Highlands. The valley with the river La Sorgue and the farm in the stone hills with all the animals and especially the sheep inspired him to write many of the songs about animals that the listener will find on this album.
