Imagine Dragons: Origins (2018) - CD

This year' s most streaming band, multi-Latin artists and Grammy winners Imagine Dragons are releasing their fourth album, Origins.

The album includes, for example, the number one hit Natural or the single Zero from the movie Raubíř Ralf and the Internet. Origins is to be a sister album to the previous Evolve. “It' s about finding a new environment, but at the same time it is about respect your roots, ”Comments singer Dan Reynolds, whose bandmates are guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman. “When we create, we create without borders, without any rules. We find it exciting to create music that is something new and different for us. ”

Imagine Dragons joins forces with producers Joel Little (Lorde / Khalid), duo Mattman & Robin (Selena Gomez / Carly Rae Jepsen) and John Hill (Florence & The Machine), who helped the band to perfect the kaleidoscopic sound of Origins. The record moves between art rock, hip hop, pop and folk and does not lack the typical handwriting of Imagine Dragons, which are the texts which tells of occasionally painful self-reflections, which, however, will eventually result in inspiration and elevate the soul.

Origins is released 16 months after Evolve' s previous album, which was twice platinum certified in one year, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Vocal Pop Album, and topped the charts with alternative singles with three singles. These include Believer (12 weeks at number one on Alternative Radio Chart, third place in Top 40 Radio), Thunder (single number one in the Top 40, Grammy nominations for Best Pop Duo / Group Performance) and Whatever It Takes (third rung in the Top 40 Radio ranking). Imagine Dragons is the ninth most listened to artist on Spotify.
