In its place

Strong, inspiring and determined. Javelin thrower Nikola Ogrodníková, chef Eliška Hromková, screenwriter and producer Lenka Szántó, prison expert Gabriela Slováková, doctor Barbora East, war correspondent Darja Stomatová, entrepreneur Zdeňka Heyn Edlová and politician and diplomat Magda Vášáryová talk about overcoming obstacles, professional passion and self-doubt. Their stories, which prove that women can succeed in any environment, are complemented by portraits from the award-winning photographer Jana Mensatorová.
