In the middle of nowhere

In the middle of nowhere stands a farm where eighteen-year-old Indian Ayga lives with his sister and father, who has fallen into alcoholism. High school student Ayga is haunted by trauma even in his dreams, but he tries to fight the pain inside him with laughter. Not always successfully. Daniel is seventeen and lives in the suburbs with his younger sister and wealthy parents. He draws comics, loves chemistry, hard music, and paints his nails black. He has a pug named Aki and huge problems, not just at school. Although at first glance it may seem that each of them is completely different, they actually have a lot in common. They become closer during a fight with one of them being severely bullied. And slowly a fragile relationship develops between them. The story, set in rural America, takes place in a small town in modern-day Oklahoma.
