A Worthington Story
Many young gentlemen have tried in vain to win the favour of the spirited sister of the Earl of Worthington. Louisa longs for an exceptional man and has no doubt that she will know the right one as soon as she sees him. During a ride in the park, she meets Gideon, the new Duke of Rothwell, and it is love at first sight. They ride horses together at dawn and dance at balls in the evening. Eventually, Gideon cannot resist the urge to kiss her, and Louisa is sure he will ask for her hand in marriage. But his estate is in a desperate situation, and his pride will not allow him to court her until he has put everything in order. But this is something Louisa will never accept.
