Ivan Klíma: Groom for Marcela

Ivan Klíma's absurdist grotesque entitled A Groom for Marcela tells the story of a man who is forced into a meaningless marriage by various forms of pressure. It was staged for radio in 1969 by director Jiří Horčička and the main roles are played by Radoslav Brzobohatý and Karel Höger. Original stereo recording deleted, only a bad mono copy preserved in the archive of the author of the text.
