Japan: Quiet Life (1x LP + 3x CD) - LP

The album “Quiet Life“ is a breakthrough album by the band Japan, on which it emerged from the original glamrock and post-punk shadow and found a completely new sound for itself, which in a sense defined the whole eighties. One of the major records of the eighth decade is now being reissued on CD, LP and 3CD + LP.

The band Japan was formed in London in 1974. The group was founded by later prominent personalities of the music scene David Sylvian (vocals), his brother Steve Jansen (drums), Richard Barbieri (keyboards) and Mick Karn (saxophone / bass guitar), which he added a little later. Robert Dean (guitar). Initially, they moved on the border between glam rock and post-punk. Later, they were one of the creators of the “sound of the 80' s“. After internal disagreements, especially between Sylvian and Karn, the group disbanded in 1982.
