Jarret: Turn it on! - CD

The band has been playing since 1992 and, through years of honest effort, has broken into the circle of folk stars, won a number of prestigious awards, and attracted the attention of critics. Today, they represent the young folk-rock present. Their on-stage confidence made them stars of evening programmes at genre-diverse festivals years ago. When you bring this up with Jarret, they react with laughter. “We’ve even read that we are folk legends – it’s not bad to be a legend with an average age under thirty. :)

We’ve been playing for a long time, and luckily, the response is there.” Jarret hopes that the CD “Vztahem zapni” will open doors for them to festivals beyond the folk scene, especially since the band has not rested on its laurels, either as writers or performers, on the new album. They have recorded a pleasant and balanced album with a clear musical direction, moving between folk songs, smart pop, and rhythmically inventive rock. The album is released in an original paper digipack.
