Javari

The Amazon River Javari, forming the natural border between Peru and Brazil, hides a world you thought long ago no longer existed. Two travelers, Mirek and Simon, set out on their own to the local Matsés Indian tribe and experience incredible adventures on their journey, which are not stopped even by a serious injury and the risk of death for one of them in the middle of the jungle wilderness. A film expedition full of mud, bottomless swamps, malaria mosquitoes, snakes and worms, but also determination, tenacity and humor will take you to very difficult to access places to indigenous cultures, from whom we can still learn a lot.

And it all started when a Brno man and an Ostrava man met and they didn' t get along at all.

The book is accompanied by illustrations by artist Nikkarin as well as the author' s authentic photographs.
