Jethro Tull: Heavy Horses

LP Record Released between the albums Songs From the Wood (1977) and Stormwatch (1979), Heavy Horses was the second part of Jethro Tull's folk-rock trilogy. On both sides of the Atlantic, the Heavy Horses album reached the top 20. This commercial success was matched by high critical praise for its melodies, instrumentation and Anderson's characteristic flute playing. More recently, many critics have rated the album as "bold and experimental", intelligent yet exciting, calling it "a testament to the men who made it".
