Jethro Tull: Stormwatch
LP Record Stormwatch is the twelfth studio album by Jethro Tull. It is considered the last in a trilogy of folk rock albums by the band (although folk music has influenced practically all of Tull's albums). Among other themes, the album deals extensively with environmental issues, oil, and money. This is the last Tull album recorded with the classic 1970s line-up. Bassist John Glascock, who was suffering from a heart infection at the time which ultimately led to his death, can only be heard on three tracks ("Flying Dutchman", "Orion", and "Elegy"). Ian Anderson played bass on the rest of the album, while Dave Pegg played on the subsequent tour. The instrumental track "Elegy" was written by David Palmer.
