Josef Stolba: At the summer apartment

Particularly popular among amateur theatregoers was and still is Josef Stolba's old-world comedy Na letním byt (On a Summer Apartment), in which we follow the campaigns of the agile mother Kapičková, who is looking for grooms for her two daughters during a summer spa stay. Mrs. Kapičková's best match seems to be the young doctor Robert Česal, who comes to the spa to visit his mother. However, he is more interested in meeting his former love, who has come for a summer stay as a married lady, than Mrs Kapičková's daughters. The self-confident seducer decides to win back his former sweetheart and it seems that the task will not be so difficult, because the husband is an impractical professor who is forever chasing butterflies in the meadows. Radio production from 1971 with Růžena Lysenková, Květa Fialová, Ilja Rack and others.
