Judas Priest: Painkiller

LP Record Judas Priest's 1990 album Painkiller is considered one of the band's finest. It was the first album to feature new singer Rob Halford since 1988's Ram It Down, and the first album with new drummer Scott Travis since 1988's Ram It Down. The album was produced by Tom Allom, who had produced every Judas Priest album from 1979's Unleashed in the East to 1988's Ram It Down. The album's title track, "Painkiller", was released as a single and became a rock radio hit. The album was certified Gold in the United States in 1991. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1991, but lost to Metallica's self-titled album.
