Judas Unchained: The Last Watch concludes the entire Commonwealth Saga
Mark Vernon, a mechanic and skilled craftsman, feels he has finally found the right place for himself in an uncertain world. He has managed to get a job in the safest of the Commonwealth's worlds. It seems that he and his family are no longer in danger. Mark is helping to build the starships that the super-rich will use to escape in the event of a catastrophe. One day, Nigel Sheldon asks him for a small favour. A man who created the Commonwealth is not one to be refused. The trouble with small favours, however, is that they often come at a huge price.
The war is not going well for the human race, and the treacherous activities of the Starflyer threaten the very heart of the Commonwealth. Only the destruction of the traitor can change the balance of power. Paula Myo is getting closer and closer to her target, but the whole operation ends in a fiasco due to sabotage from within their own ranks. Paula must find out who the traitor to humanity is.
