One year of backpacking through Europe: new identity, no contacts, and no money. That's not a bad plan. At least that's what I thought. Until I found myself here. In a crowded hostel room, full of body odour and smelling alcohol. I can't even begin to describe the hellhole I fell into. But in the midst of the chaos, I meet my new roommate, Hayden Whitmore. She sleeps on the bed opposite me, and I freely admit that I stare at her more often than I should. Beautiful, innocent and smart. She's not my usual type, but she seems perfect to me. I do have one slight problem with the divine Miss Hayden. She's not at all impressed by my charm. Nothing works on her, and she's made me her best friend. Well, do you get it?
Okay, fine. I'll go along with her game. I'll be the best friend she's ever had, I'll hold her hand, I'll entertain her and snuggle with her in bed. A diabolical plan that I'm really proud of. But that somehow created another problem. Hayden gets under my skin and I realize that maybe friendship with benefits isn't enough. But what happens when they find out who I really am?
