Kapral Quartet: String Quartet - CD

Kapral' s Quartet is a group of young Czech artists led by Veronika Panochová, who has been playing chamber music for a long time. For their new compact disc, they chose members of a quartet named after the excellent Czech composer Vítězslava Kaprálová, works by Mendelssohn, Verdi and Suk. Verdi' s String Quartet in E minor in particular does not belong to the frequently recorded works due to its complexity (the final movement is a fugue). Suk' s work belongs to the Czech national classic. Great interpretation in the great hall of Domoviny, where Václav Talich also filmed.
