Karel Hynek Mácha: Máj (2009)

Studio recording of the performance in Prague's poetic Viola wine bar from 2009, interpeted by Bára Hrzánová "Hrzánová recites the entire May from memory, that in itself is worthy of admiration, and she takes possession of it with sovereignty and above all - and in this she is the heir of the Viola masters - she is able to savour the slightest shade of Mácha's fragrant Czech and convey the depths of meaning into which her and Horanský's interpretation does not hesitate to dive with the courage of a diver in love.
