Kemel Mirek: Nothing more - CD

Kemel Mirek: Nothing more - CD
Miroslav Kemel is a leading Czech cartoonist, but also an original Czech singer-songwriter. He plays the accordion, guitar and harmonica. The album's title, NIC VÍC (NOTHING MORE), reflects the sparse, simple arrangements of the songs. In concerts, Mirek Kemel usually performs these songs solo, but a large number of guests appear on the album.
The new record was arranged and produced by the great actor, but also excellent musician, Vladimír Javorský, who occasionally performs with his band. Mirek Kemel's songs are based on quality original lyrics and are about real-life experiences that we encounter and have to deal with on the path to inner freedom.
In addition to the musicians from Kemel's regular concert band, Vlastimil Konopiský (guitar) and Tomáš Görtler (accordion), and the already mentioned Vladimír Javorský, the CD also features guest appearances from Petr Tichý on double bass, Marie Tichá on cello, Oskar Török on flugelhorn, and Mirek Linka on guitar. The CD 'Nic víc' was recorded at Michal Pajdiak's AVIK studio, who also guests on drums and percussion. The new album comes in a nice digipack with the lyrics to all the songs.
