Kiasmos: Kiasmos

LP Record Piano and electronics: the debut album from Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen's project. The minimalist techno project Kiasmos was founded in 2009 by Icelandic neoclassical composer and pianist Ólafur Arnalds, together with Janus Rasmussen (Bloodgroup). On the album "Kiasmos", the two attempt to combine Arnalds' acoustic piano work with Rasmussen's heavy, synth-based electropop. The first EP ("Thrown EP") was released in 2012, followed by the long-awaited debut album, "Kiasmos". It was born from a shared love of electronic music that connects the two sound masters.
