Kieslowski: Tiché lásky - CD

Giving space to voices that only communicate what is inside.

Duo KIESLOWSKI is a new project of the musician known as DKP and Maria Kieslowka. DKP was in the bands Bez peří and Houpací koně and is also a member of Xavier Baumaxy's backing band. He and pianist Maria Kieslowski form a duo that relies on the intimacy and rawness of the basic acoustic sound of guitar, piano and the contrast of two distinctive voices.
It came naturally from the need to shave the songs to the marrow and emphasize intimacy, fragility, to try not to "hide" behind arrangements, ties and noise. " He shares with DKP how he became a rocker turned songwriter. The album Silent Loves is a fragile, intimate testimony about the loves we hold deep inside. Everything is wrapped in expressive melodies with poetic and honest lyrics.
