Kladruby stud farm

The Kladruby Stud is one of the gems among the world's stud farms, and its Old Kladruber horses were and still are the only ceremonial horses in the world. Originally serving Czech kings, they now serve at the courts in Denmark and Sweden. However, they are also horses for the highest level of carriage driving competitions as well as for academic riding. The book tells the story of the origins of the horses and stud farms, and of the name Kladruby. It guides us through a day and a year at the Kladruby stud and explains how this beautiful landscape came under the protective wing of UNESCO.
