Knife-sharp Riesling

The second story in the wine crime series

Once again, it takes place in the magical South Moravian region below Pálava, among vineyards, wine cellars and winemakers. While picking grapes for the production of icewine, the winemaker Ruda Jelínek is found dead at the end of the vineyard one frosty night in December. He was killed by a single knife stab in the back.

Who killed the winemaker? And why is that? There are four possible reasons for the murder: envy, resentment, infatuation and greed. And so the criminalist Captain Otakar Kuba begins to search for the person who could have had any of the above reasons to kill Ruda Jelinek.
