Kočko Tomáš & Orchestra: Poplore - CD

Tomáš Kočko is no newcomer to the Czech music scene. Tomáš has come to be known as the 'Moravian bard', but he rejects this label. The songs that form the core of this musical adventure were deliberately chosen from regions that fell within the cultural sphere of the first Slavic state in Central Europe – the ancient Great Moravian Empire.

Tomáš has used some established pop music methods and clichés – layering instruments and voices, adding effects, and enriching the rhythm section, all while testing the limits of good taste. And all this out of a desire for a simple song. He invited a large number of excellent musicians to the studio (over 30 performers in total), who recorded their parts on the individual tracks. Recorded, mixed and mastered: February–May 2006 at Indies studio. Music production by Tomáš Kočko, sound engineering, mixing and mastering by Bronislav Šmid.
