Labus Pepa a spol.: Vzlétají ptáci - CD

The album of the band Pepa Lábus a SPOL "Vzlétají ptáci" marks a significant shift compared to the previous three albums. There was a change in the position of drummer and the violinist was replaced by a player of the electro-acoustic ninura and Galician bagpipes.

The band has also tightened up and densified their sound. Although the folk-rock foundation is obvious after the opening bars, there is much to discover throughout the rest of the album's listening. From the individuality of the original work, which, however, does not hide its inspiration e.g. Scandinavian world music, through lived lyrics or the aforementioned unconventional instruments and vocals.
