Landa Daniel: The Good Fairies Are Dead - LP

Landa Daniel: The Good Fairies Are Dead - LP
This second solo album from 1995 is undoubtedly one of the pinnacles of Landa's work. Just like his debut, it was produced by Ondřej Soukup and features timeless hits such as Motýlek (The Butterfly) and Holky a mašiny (Girls and Machines).
Among the album's highlights is the song Ztracení hoši (Lost Boys), an introspective anthem for the notional Czech skinhead movement. Another unforgettable moment is the album's closing track, Včera mě někdo… (Yesterday Someone...), an unusually down-to-earth look at Landa's own violent death.
Daniel Landa is a rock singer, composer, lyricist, librettist, screenwriter, producer, actor, boxer, racing driver, and mental coach. He began his musical career in the band Orlík, which split up after releasing its second album. Since then, Landa has performed as a solo artist.
He has received countless awards in popularity polls and has earned numerous Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum records.
He debuted as a musical writer with Krysař (The Pied Piper), and his most recent musical is Klíč králů (The Key of Kings). As an actor, he has appeared in prominent roles in films such as Černí baroni (The Black Barons) and Proč? (Why?). His latest film role was Alex in his own movie, Tacho, and on television, he portrayed Emanuel Moravec in the episode Den po Mnichovu (The Day After Munich) from the acclaimed series České století (The Czech Century).
