Claydon Torcreek has survived a journey through a jungle of dragons, a clash with hostile tribes and the chilling touch of betrayal - but his troubles are just beginning. The mythical white dragg - generally regarded as a mere myth - is awakening from a long slumber, overcome by a burning desire to burn the human world to the ground.
One city has already fallen victim to the dreaded dragnet cohorts. And more will follow if Clay fails to uncover an ancient secret still hidden beneath the southern ice. Clay must once again face unimaginable dangers, and this time he shoulders not only the burden of the hope of his own people, but also the fate of the entire world.
