Lincoln - Blu-ray

If slavery is not bad, then nothing is bad.

Steven Spielberg' s “Lincoln“ describes the last four months of the life of America' s greatest president, Abraham Lincoln. It reveals the most risky and courageous decision of the American leader at a time when the issue of slavery is escalating and the country is torn by war.

A strong human drama takes place at the end of it. Lincoln may end the conflict, but decides to play a higher political game, which is an attempt to abolish slavery. She has to answer for herself whether other wasted lives are worth it. At that stellar moment in history, Lincoln must use all his talent, courage and moral strength. He has to make a decision that will make him a legend. From time immemorial, the character of Abraham Lincoln oscillates between a myth and a historical figure. It still employs the public' s imagination, perhaps even more today than ever before. Perhaps because it has become a global symbol of prudent management of power.
