Little Joe - DVD

Alice is a single mother and a dedicated scientist, leading a team at a corporation that develops new plant species. She has just successfully engineered an extraordinary crimson flower, remarkable not only for its beauty but also for its therapeutic qualities: if kept at the ideal temperature, properly watered, and spoken to kindly, it brings its owner a sense of happiness.

Breaking company rules, Alice brings one of the plants home as a gift for her young son, Joe. They name the plant Little Joe together, but as it grows, Alice begins to suspect that her new creation might not be as harmless as it first seemed.
