Lord of the World

One of the first dystopian novels from the beginning of the 20th century. In the 21st century, the world is divided into several super-states on the brink of war. Europe and America have adopted humanism as their philosophy, and the church, long in decline, is losing the last remnants of its influence. In this tense situation, a solution appears as if by a miracle – an exceptional politician who promises the world prosperity and peace. The text of the book has been digitised from the first Slovak edition, and only minimal textual edits have been made.
