Lorde: Melodrama (2017) - CD

After a triumphant return with the new single “Green Light“, the singer LORDE is preparing for the release of her second album Melodrama on Universal Music on June 16.

The single “Green Light“ immediately brought Lord on Facebook and Twitter to the top of worldwide audience interest, with an incredible 2 billion impressions on Twitter alone in the first 24 hours. The song was the most-added song on the US Top 40 after its release, and immediately hit the A-List in the UK on BBC Radio 1. During the week, the song was streamed 12 million times and the clip now has over 25 million views on YouTube. The whole world is talking about the return of the Lord, including artists such as Diplo, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Halsey, Charlie XCX and even actor Aaron Paul, known from Breaking Bad enthusiastically praised the new song and the clip. Lorde presented Green Light live for the first time on Saturday Night Live in the USA on March 11.

In 2013, the then 16-year-old LORDE unobtrusively but confidently became the voice of the generation with her debut album Pure Heroine.
