Loreena McKennitt: Elemental Ltd Num

LP Record Elemental is the debut album from Loreena McKennitt, the exceptional Canadian singer, which was released in 1985. Loreena sets Irish folk music to her own enchanting arrangements, and does so exceptionally well. Authentic medieval instruments are as much a part of her concept as her unique vocal style. Review "Now sensitively remastered and reissued in a limited edition on a beautifully produced LP, the ringing voice and acoustic instruments unfold as if liberated. The soundscapes, sometimes layered with a synthesiser, no longer feel like foreign bodies, but rather ground the songs' captivating atmosphere." (Good Times, December 2015 / January 2016)
