Lost in Books

Towards the end of his life, Stan is staying in a sanatorium for the mentally ill. There, he befriends a young man named Filip, whom he grows to love like his own son. Stan's granddaughter regularly visits him, bringing him books, as reading is his great passion. Together with Stan, the reader gets lost between the lines of the books and finds themself in the Wild West, in the middle of a murder investigation. Stan's escapes into the arid steppes intertwine with his life in the sanatorium, where he experiences everyday adventures with Filip. Stan's granddaughter refuses to believe her grandfather is mad and tries to fulfil a long-held dream of his.
