Lucie Bílá - Message for Jesus (CD)

Lucie Bílá prepared one big Christmas musical surprise for the end of the year. After five long years, he comes with a new album Vzkaz pro Ježíška, according to the title mostly with Christmas theme. However, this is not an interpretation of traditional Christmas evergreens, but brand new, original songs! Moreover, thanks to the sound and musical production, the board significantly breaks away from the usual model of Christmas projects. Producer Martin "MAXO" Šrámek, with whom Lucie collaborated on her last two studio albums Hana (2016) and Ta o mně (2019), has a major role in the final form of the recording. Together they then selected the repertoire that makes up this new album. Nine recordings present the multiple Golden Nightingale in great singing and performing form.

Who collaborated on the album

The songs were shared by almost all of Lucie Bílá's composers Pokáč and Patricia Kaňok from the band Vesna, while the currently very popular O5 and Radeček are among the new composers. The new release offers listeners not only purely festive themes such as Christmas Sweater, Let's Find a Place, Christmas Tree and the title track Message for Baby Jesus, but also several intimate, timeless recordings. These include the beautiful chanson ballad I Love and the emotional song For Dad with a special personal dedication by the performer. The only previously released song is the single O Vánocích from 2022, written by Pokáč and produced by Dalibor Cidlinský jr. With her singing, Lucie Bílá once again confirms that she has long been among the absolute top of the Czech music scene. Listeners will be charmed by her distinctive and emotional interpretation, as well as her lightness and insight where the character of Christmas songs demands it.
