Macdonald Amy: Under Stars / Deluxe (2017) - CD

Amy Macdonald is releasing a brand new album Under Stars, which will be released on Virgin / EMI on February 17, 2017 - her first studio album since 2012. Amy also announced a tour of thirteen UK gigs in 2017, including a show at London' s Royal Albert Hall. On March 21, 2017, it will be presented at the Lucerna Music Bar in Prague.

“It took me two and a half years to work on the album, which is the longest time I' ve ever spent on an album. Some time ago, I wished the record was ready as soon as possible, but now I' m glad we weren' t in a hurry; she seems to have received the love, care and attention she deserves, ”Amy said.

The acoustic version of one of the songs on the new album Down By The Water, which was recorded live in the RAK studio, can be viewed here: https: // youtu. be / 5dHsy568wvc

The album was produced by Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, Florence and the Machine) and another session by the production duo My Riot (London Grammar, Birdy).

Only 29-year-old Amy has released three albums so far (her debut album This Is The Life, A Curious Thing 2010 and Life In A Beautiful Light 2012) and has sold over 5 million records worldwide, including 1.5 million in the UK . Unlike previous albums with songs she composed herself, she has teamed up with musicians she has known for ten years on her album novelty, since signing her first recording contract at the age of nineteen. Specifically with bass guitarist Jimmy Sims and friend and acoustic guitarist Ben Parker.

“I' m very proud of those songs and the album makes me very happy. There are a lot of incredible moments on it and I am convinced that it is the best thing I have achieved so far. I' m excited to share it with my fans now and I hope they like the new album, “said Amy.
