Mantaban: Neon Folk - CD

Mantaban is a band that offers a sonically original narrative inspired by folk traditions. Jiří Hodina (violin, vocals), Jan Jirucha (trombone, euphonium), and Petr Kalfus (soprano saxophone, alto clarinet). Three musicians from the city with different backgrounds lend a completely distinctive character to the song folklore of Bohemia and Moravia, as well as to their own compositions, successfully building bridges between traditional and modern interpretations of folk music.
