Maraca - Zimbova: Bloody Ballads - CD

Maraca is renowned for its unconventional approach and the perfectionism it applies to musical motifs, which it then transforms into an unexpected and captivating final form.

Petr Filák, the frontman of the band Maraca, explains how the Maraca & Zimbova collaboration came about: After ten years, I met the singer Marta Vávrová in Český Krumlov. At that time, the guitarist Martin Bakyta also appeared there. We enjoyed playing together, and on top of that, we came across some as-yet-unknown ballads. We brought in the singer Gabriela Vermelho and the bassist Aleš Obkráčil, and the CD Krvavé balady (Bloody Ballads) was born.
