Mark Lanegan: With Animals LTD

LP Record Five years after the release of their album "Black Pudding", these two exceptional artists have teamed up again to present 12 new songs. While their debut album centred around the guitar, with melodies built on Garwood's string work, "With Animals" is more minimalist, defined by the spaces between the sounds, which gives it an even greater intensity through its simplicity. The album's lo-fi sound is dark and dusty, yet powerful. It's almost as if the pair didn't record the album in LA, Pasadena, and Joshua Tree, but in a studio somewhere in the 1960s while an apocalypse raged outside.
