Maroon 5 are releasing a new album. The record, “Red Pill Blues”, will be released on 3 November!

American band Maroon 5, three-time winners of the prestigious Grammy Award, who have sold over 20 million albums and 48 million singles to date, have announced the release of their highly anticipated new studio album. Their sixth album, titled Red Pill Blues, was released on 3 November 2017.

The album's executive producer is J. Kash, who has previously contributed to several of the band's hits and is also known for his collaborations with artists such as Charlie Puth, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Carly Rae Jepsen. The new record, Red Pill Blues, will also feature several special guests—the album includes American R&B singer SZA, pop starlet Julia Michaels, and American rappers A$AP Rocky and LunchMoney Lewis.

The album's release follows a year of phenomenal success for Maroon 5. Exactly a year ago, the seven-piece band from Los Angeles released the single Don't Wanna Know featuring Kendrick Lamar, which reached the Top 10 in fifteen countries and has garnered nearly 320 million views on YouTube/VEVO. They repeated this success with the song Cold from this winter, which has over 254 million streams on Spotify and almost 110 million views on YouTube/VEVO. The single Cold was a major turning point for Maroon 5—it was their twelfth single to reach the Top 10 of the Hot 100, making Maroon 5 the most successful band in the history of that chart.

The band is currently storming the charts with the single What Lovers Do featuring singer SZA, which is approaching 100 million streams on Spotify and around 50 million views on YouTube. All of the above-mentioned songs will, of course, be found on the new album Red Pill Blues, which will offer a full fifteen songs in its standard version. Fans of deluxe versions won't be left out either; they can look forward to a bonus disc with six live recordings from a concert in Manchester.

Maroon 5 are back and on 3 November they will present their new album Red Pill Blues, which will undoubtedly follow the success of their previous album V from 2014, which featured the global hits Sugar, Maps, and Animals.
