Mars Volta: Mars Volta - CD

After a ten-year hiatus, The Mars Volta returns to the scene. The original duo was joined by musicians Eva Gardner (bass), Willy Rodriguez Quinones (drums) and Marcel Rodríguez-López (keyboards). The first single is "Blacklight Shine".

Formed in 2001 by Cedric Bixler and Omar Rodriguez of At The Drive In, The Mars Volta navigated the band from the emo-punk of the original band into the waters of hardcore, psychedelic rock and free-jazz. In January 2013, Cedric announced that he was no longer part of the band and the band broke up. The two protagonists continued to work together under the Antemasque banner.

Year of publication: 2022 (7. album)
