Marsyas: Marsyas - LP

A cult folk rock album in a great reissue

Preparations for its creation date back to the mid-1970s, were published in 1978 and are still used for musical family silver.
Zuzana Michnová, Petr Kalandra and Oskar Petr transformed from the original acoustic trio of two guitars and three voices into an electrically ensembled band.
Bandleader, arranger and guitarist Pavel Fořt invited to the studio, among others. M. Kocába, O. Soukupa, L. Malinu, J. Kubíka, E. Viklického or J. Rough to make the overall sound folk rock, without violating the delicate songwriting nature of the originals. To the majority author of music and lyrics O. Peter was well seconded by a colleague, in addition to repertoire contributions and solo singing creating great polyphonies. These, together with multi-layered and colourful images and turns provided with texts, are still a clear hallmark and a guarantee of exceptional quality.

The opening cover of the LP contains a set of song lyrics, period and new sleeve-notes, reviews, observations of musicians and documentary photographs. The vinyl weighing 180 grams completes this re-edition in a collector-friendly form, reminiscent of one of our best musical moments.
