Mastodon: Hushed And Grim (Coloured) (2x LP) - LP

The band's eighth studio album was produced by David Bottrill (e.g. King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, Rush, dEUS, Tool, etc. ) and also featured guitarist Kim Thayil of Soundgarden. The recordings were greatly affected by the death of the band's manager Nick John.

American band Mastodon is one of the most interesting bands of the contemporary metal scene. They were formed in 2000 and have released five albums so far. They are known for their progressive approach, original instrumentation and vocal parts combining deep-set raspy vocals and high-pitched wailing. The Hunter released their last and most commercially successful album in 2011.
