Michaels Uncle: Return of Dark Psychedelia - CD

Even after all these years, the band hasn't lost any of its edge, but the album also features more melodic tracks with catchy choruses. This is definitely not a pure hardcore album. In addition to the founding members (Amrit Sen - vocals, Petr Stanko - guitar, vocals, Jarda Stuchlý - drums, and Ivan Klein - bass), the album also features keyboardist David Kabzan. It was recorded at Faust studio in Prague's Dejvice district and mixed at Niceworks studio in Brno.

The recording and mixing were perfectly handled by the renowned English sound engineer Alex Limburg, with the final mastering done by Ivo Sedláček at Velvetmastering studio. Lyrically, the album addresses contemporary issues, with tracks like 'Miluju systém' (I Love the System) and 'Prej byznys' (So-Called Business) commenting on these topics with great perspective. The album's title, Return of Dark Psychedelia, is a nod to their earlier album, The End of Dark Psychedelia.
