Missing places

With the book Disappeared Places, we will travel around the Czech Republic in an unconventional way - through places that once teemed with life and now only nettles, buttercups, and thistles grow there. Gradually, the people who remember these places are leaving, and with them their memories. A piece of our history is disappearing. Some of these places are well-known and some are even coming to life, others are almost forgotten. However, specific people lived in all of them, they often had intriguing destinies, and interesting stories often happened there. The book is the first of its kind to cover the entire republic; individual chapters are divided by region. Simple maps for each region contribute to easy orientation. So let' s remember at least some of the extinct settlements, towns, and localities and maybe even get inspired for our own trips.
