Mode: ReGeneration - CD

The album ReGenerácia is being released after a thirty-year hiatus, proving that Modus still has something to say after all this time. It builds on its rich history, yet is very current in terms of its songwriting, sound and performance. It is genre-diverse and filled with sincere statements from the entire band. The music was written by four of its five members: Ján Baláž, Ľubo Kyslík Stankovský, Pavol Bartovic and Juraj Zaujec. The lyrics were penned by Juraj Soviar, Mirka Ábelová, Martin Sarvaš, Peter Lehotský and Vlasta Brezovská.

In 2017, the group MODUS celebrated its 50th anniversary. As one of the first beat bands in Czechoslovakia, they won over listeners mainly with their imaginative original compositions, excellent vocal performances, and high-quality live shows. Unforgettable artists who were part of Modus include Janko Lehotský, Marika Gombitová, Ján Baláž, Miroslav Žbirka, Ľubo Kyslík Stankovský and Laco Lučenič. The group has 8 studio albums and 9 compilations to its name. Currently, it features two of the founding members, Ján Baláž (guitar, vocals) and Ľubo Kyslík Stankovský (drums, vocals), along with three new additions: Juraj Zaujec (guitar, vocals), Pavol Bartovic (keyboards, vocals), and Juraj Varga (bass guitar, vocals). In 2016, after a long break, Modus returned with the hit ‘Dávam ti všetko’, followed by another radio-friendly single, ‘Neviem viac’.
