Ever since he was just a little monster, Mike Wazowski dreamed of becoming a successful Scarer. And everyone knows that the best Scarers come from Monsters University.
But during his very first semester at university, Mike's plans start to crumble when he crosses paths with the naturally talented scare-ace, James P. Sullivan, a.k.a. Sulley. Life at the university and in the halls gets a little out of control for the pair, and their competitive spirit gets them kicked out of the university's elite Scaring Program.
And to make matters worse, Mike and Sulley realise they will have to work together if they ever want to make things right.
