Morrissey: This Is Morrissey - LP

The new collection features one of Britain's greatest musicians at the turn of the millennium. The former frontman of indie legends The Smiths has been a solo artist since 1988 and is one of the most influential musicians on the indie scene. This Is Morrissey features studio hits, live recordings and a rare alternative Mael mix of Suedehead. Morrissey supervised the release of the album and compiled the compilation himself. A representative collection!

The former lead singer and leader of Manchester band The Smiths has long been one of the most revered figures in the alternative scene. He started working solo in the late 1980s, when his home band broke up. He was known for his strong views, whether political or purely social. For example, he was a great critic of Margaret Thatcher, which was often reflected in his work.
