Mr Garcia

Love with a dark secret: The choice between rescue and passion

We met in a café - he was older, mysterious and I was attracted to him from the first moment. He came back every day, even though he hated my coffee. Outside the café he was no longer just a polished gentleman - his desire was unbridled. We loved each other, but his demons were hard to tame. I have a choice: to leave and save yourself, or to stay and hope in the power of love.
He was beautiful, elderly and mysterious. I knew we had a problem as soon as our eyes met. We met at the coffee shop my first day on the job. He smiled, I melted inside... then he tasted my coffee and threw it away. Again, another day and another. He really hated the coffee, and yet he kept coming back. I knew his game. He said coffee from me is death in a cup. I told him that he was a gift from God to women. And I wasn't lying. Then we bumped into each other outside the café - and that's when it got interesting. He was no longer a polished gentleman with perfect manners.
Mr. Garcia showed his darker side, his desires were predatory and untamed. He lit a fire in me. We couldn't help but fall head over heels in love. It was intoxicating. But his demons are dark, just like mine. I don't know if we're gonna make it, and I know I only have two options. Leave now and save yourself. Or stay and hope that love will save us. I choose the second option.
